FORECASTERS say latest weather models show ice and snow are set to return to Donegal.

Friday, will be very cold, with a mixture of sunny spells and showers, most of the showers falling as rain, hail and sleet, some heavy, with a risk of thunder.
However, some showers of snow will occur also, especially over high ground in the north west. Maximum temperatures of 3C.
It will be cold on Friday night as temperatures fall to below zero with wintry showers continuing to affect Donegal.
The wintry showers will continue on Saturday and Sunday.
