Looks like we are in for some snow again, here are some ‘Tinney’s Toys Tips’ to keep you and the kids happy.
Snow in a Bottle
Make your own snow globe. Use strong glue to attach a plastic toy to the inside of a jar lid, then add baby oil and glitter and you have your very own homemade snow globe. It’s something kids can keep to remember their fun day with you.
Ice Bubbles Maker
If the temperature drops low enough, blow bubbles and watch them freeze on the wand.
Snow Graffiti
Get creative with the kids. Fill spray bottles with water and some food colouring. Spray on the snow and watch a masterpiece come together!
DIY Snow
Make snowflakes of your own. Set out scissors and a stack of paper and let the kids go crazy. Obviously with adult supervision. Disney even released a PDF of “Frozen” designs. Click here – http://www.
Snow Cream
Mix up some snow ice cream. Take some clean snow, stir some white sugar, 1 tablespoon vanilla extract and a little milk. Once the ingredients are combined, serve immediately.
Sledding
Sledding is the perfect thing to do in the snow and it’s not just for kids! Grab the kids and the sleds and enjoy your snow day.
