Letterkenny Golf Club received a very enthusiastic and warm hearted welcome to the Golf Ireland “Time to Play Golf” Promotion night held at the Europa Hotel, Belfast last week.
Invited by Fáilte Ireland to take part in the expo, this event is the highlight in the Northern Ireland golfing calendar, the ‘go-to’ event for golfing enthusiasts and absolute beginners to clinch the best value golfing getaways with booking discounts, exclusive tips from the experts, or just to learn about the country’s top golf courses.
Attendees were treated to refreshments throughout the evening and there were also fabulous draws for some fantastic golf prizes.
This year, there was also a “golf simulator”, where guests were able to try their luck at a “closest to the pin” competition.
Martin Donnelly, Fáilte Ireland said; ‘The Golf Ireland -Time to Play Golf Promotion is a must for all golfers in Northern Ireland.
Whether you’re a novice golfer or a seasoned pro seeking the perfect destination for your next golfing break, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for all under one roof.
This event is the ultimate golf get together and the perfect excuse to meet up with your golfing buddies and plan your next great escape’.
Letterkenny Golf Club was represented by Vice Captain Ivan Fuery, marketing & golf society convenor Cynthia Fuery and club GUI Golf Professional Seamus Clinton. Cynthia states; “It was a fantastic night with hundreds of golf enthusiasts enquiring about Letterkenny Golf Club and, indeed, golf in Donegal.
“We had a great response to our draw and lots of enquiries from societies. This was the perfect opportunity to market our club, our town and Donegal as a whole to the Northern Ireland golfing fraternity and I can foresee a lot of “touring golfers” visiting Donegal, hopefully Barnhill, in 2015″.
Accompanying the club stalwarts was Suzanne Mc Philips, Business Development Manager, Mc Keever Hotel Group, who was also delighted with the response that they received.Tags:
