Tests on the levels of asbestos at Government Buildings in Letterkenny could be known today.
Asbestos was found in the office in Letterkenny.
The offices, located on the High Road, have been closed since last week.
Around 30 employees have refused to return to the offices in recent days because of claims that asbestos is in the building.
The Department of Social Protection has carried out two tests on the building and say there were low levels of asbestos found.
However, more intensive tests were carried out on Thursday evening last.
The results of those tests could be made known today.
The displaced workers have been relocated to other Government Department offices in the town.
