The Donegal GAA squad returned from their team holiday on Friday, but they had no time to settle back into things, as they were summoned to the slightly milder region of Downings for training over the weekend.
The players enjoyed a week away as a reward for their stunning season in 2014.
The squad got together on Saturday morning for a training session to shake off the cobwebs after a sunny sojourn in Dubai.
The squad then stayed overnight in Downings and trained again on Sunday morning as all attention now focuses on the formidable challenge of Cork.
Donegal host Cork in Ballyshannon in yet another crucial league encounter, with six teams already locked on two points each, home advantage is critical, and Donegal will hope to maximise that advantage.
When you consider their horrible away record in the league, home games take on added significance.
In club football the fixtures for the new season are expecting to be announced shortly.
A provisional date of March 20th is being proposed as the start date for the All-County League.
