Jason Quigley barely broke a sweat to win his fourth professional fight in LA in the early hours of this morning.
The Ballybofey man took just one minute and 34 seconds to stop his latest opponent Lanny Dardar at the Belasco Theatre.
The Donegal boxer was busy from the first bell and had Dardar on the canvass twice before the referee jumped in to stop the contest.
None of Quigley’s four opponents to date have lasted the distance.
Jason’s manager the legendary Oscar De La Hoya has said he is expected great things of Quigley.
Speaking after the fight, Jason said he had planned to take it slowly but things didn’t quite work out that way in the ring.
“My strategy was to really take my time. That didn’t really happen because I landed a few shots and as soon as I landed them I saw they hurt him so I had to take him out as soon as I could.”
