A Donegal music group has scooped first prize in the Pan Celtic Song Contest in Carlow.
Foireann Bri, led by well-known songwriter Brighdin Carr,were a hugely popular choice with their song ‘Arainn Mhor.’
The song was delivered by singer Jason Friel supported by a host of well-known local musicians.
The group picked up a cheque for €1,000 as well as a superb trophy.
The gang arrived back in Donegal last night where they received a huge welcome home at the Mount Errigal Hotel.
Congrats to all those who have put Donegal on the musical map once again.Tags:
