There was lots of food for thought at the Bluebird Care cookery demonstration with celebrity chef Gary O’Hanlon.

Celebrating five years in business, Bluebird Care threw a culinary party for their staff, customers, business associates and local people interested in all things cooking.
Director Marty Kelly described the evening as a gathering of friends to appreciate great home-cooking and to share culinary tips.
“After building our business in Donegal, we wanted to give something back to those who have supported us. Hence we hosted a free cookery demo in the Station House Hotel with Bluebird Care’s food ambassador, Gary O’Hanlon.
“We had 100 people attend and Gary cooked recipes from our award-winning cookbook, Food for the Soul. We also used the opportunity to present our sponsorship cheque to local charity Blood Bikes North West.”
Marty presents Bernard with a cheque for an incredible €5,000 for Blood Bikes North-West.
Bernard McDyer, founder of Blood Bikes North West described Bluebird Care’s sponsorship as invaluable.
“Marty has supported us from day one. Bluebird Care are responsible for purchasing our two motorbikes which essentially keep this charity on the road. Our volunteers and indeed those who benefit from our services are grateful for their generous support and especially this donation of €5,000.”
