Malin GAA News:
ALL COUNTY LEAGUE DIVISION 1
Malin were away to St Michael’s on Monday (please check result and report on facebook – too late for paper as already out to print).
Malin seniors and reserves will be playing away next Sunday against Kilcar at 1.30pm and 3.00pm. All support welcome.
EASTER CAMP
Malin GAA Easter camp will run from Wednesday 8th to Friday 10th of April for all under players aged 5-13 (boys and girls) from 10.00 -2.00 every day. Cost of camp is €30 per child, €25 per second child and €20 for third and subsequent children please contact Danny Lafferty on 0868988180 or Maria McLaughlin on 0877763679 and see Facebook for more information. If you haven’t registered you can do so on Wednesday morning at 9.30. Every child will recieve an O’Neills football and an Easter Egg.
UNDERAGE
The under 12 match against Muff was cancelled last week but the hopeflly will get their season started this week away on Tuesday against Muff. The under 16’s match against Carndonagh was also off on Friday but they are playing against Muff on Friday 10th of April at home at 6.30.
STRICTLY COME DANCING
The strictly come dancing night held in aid of our underage teams on Sunday was a great success and the winners on the night saw Dessie McColgan and Terese McCallion scoop the judges prize while the audience vote went to William McLaughin and Susan Byrne. The club would like to thank all our dancers who put in a huge effort over the last number of weeks so thank you to Barny Doherty and George Houten, Susan Byrne and William Quigley, Veronica Harkin and Joey McLaughlin, Catriona Doherty and Dan McDaid, Maura Monagle and Danny McColgan, Caroline McLaughlin and Mickey Douglas, Tomas McLaughlin and Aisling Orr, Winnie Deery and Noel McLaughlin (R), Pat McLaughlin and Susan McLaughlin, Seamus McLaughlin and Elaine Byrne, Emma McDaid and Noel Connolly, John Doherty and Marian Collins, Tina O’Donnell and Tony McColgan and Therese McCallion and Dessie McColgan. The club would also like to thank all the event organisers Linda McColgan, Danny Lafferty, Margaret Raymond, Maria McLaughlin and Sean McLaughlin– who put in a massive amount of work, dance teachers Josie Doherty (T),Catriona Gallagher, Breege and John Gill and Finvola Lyons, the main sponsers Canny and Doherty Supervalu, John Deery, Boston and Matthew, Danny and Paul Martin McDiad, Boston and the numerous other sponsers and anyone who helped in any way for what was a very successful and enjoyable night for the club.
