The Colm Clancy Memorial Walk will take place in Glenveagh National Park this Sunday, 12th April.
This walk in memory of Colm Clancy, who together with his student pilot was tragically killed in a helicopter accident in 2009.
The walk is organised each year for the benefit of two charities working in Malawi with some of the poorest people on the planet.
Cara Malawi is in general community development with particular emphasis on capacity building.
Ubwino Wa Amayi is focused on the education of girls and women.
All are welcome to walk and sponsorship cards are available in most business premises in Gaoth Dobhair for those who want to support these worthy causes.
Buses will leave the car park in Glenveagh for Gartan at 11.30am for the walk to start properly.
