Club matchplay organiser Martin Duffy wishes to notify members who have not already entered their name on the sheet for this years competition to do so immediately to avoid disappointment, and miss out on what promises to be an exciting battle this year.
On the competition front, the Easter Hampers were hotly contested and Peter Friel just about pipped Martin Duffy into second place on BoT, with Patsy Gallagher coming in one point back in third place.
Last Sunday 12th another Gallagher, Gerry claimed top spot in the McCamish Cup with 37 pts, with Philip Friel one shot back in second.
As more members come into form after the winter, competition will again be hot this Sunday 19th in Otway, for the qualifying competition for the Fanad Band Competition later in the year in Portsalon GC.
