Letterkenny Rovers FC continue their pursuit of FAI Youth Cup glory when they host Cork side Kilreen Celtic in Sunday’s semi-final at Leckview Park (kick-off 12.30pm.)
And you could win two tickets for the Republic of Ireland against England at the Aviva Stadium in June by showing your support!
Rovers last reached the final back in 2004 when they lost to Erris United from Mayo.
They also reached the last four back in 1991 when they went down 2-0 at home to Home Farm – who included future Republic of Ireland international Gary Kelly in their ranks.
Eamonn McConigley’s side are unbeaten in all competitions this season and shocked Wexford Youths in the quarter-finals with a 1-0 win at Ferrycarrig Park after extra-time thanks to a strike from Gavin McDaid.
“It’s a big occasion for everyone involved”, said McConigley this week. “The players are really looking forward to it and hopefully we can make home advantage count”.
To mark the occasion, Rovers are holding a draw for everybody who attends the game and will be in with a chance of winning two tickets for the Republic of Ireland versus England friendly and a 100 euro voucher for Brian McCormick Sports.
You will receive your ticket on admission at the gate (adults 5euro, children free). The draw will take place at half-time.
