Locals in Burtonport have flocked to O’Donnell’s Bar to view Joseph Duffy’s latest fight in Las Vegas with Dustin Poirier.
The Burtonport Bomber has made an incredible start to life in the UFC since his debut in Dallas, last March.
His supporters who couldn’t make it to Las Vegas – are praying he produces the goods again against a formidable opponent in the form of Poirier.
Both the front and back lounges in O’Donnell’s are packed – and excitement is building ahead of the fight.
Duffy has always commanded huge support from locals in the area – and tonight is evidence again of the high esteem and popularity the Meenbannad man is held in.
Owner, Jimmy O’Donnell has even provided ‘dry turf’ for the fire in the front bar which shows the magnitude of the event! 🙂
Here’s hoping he delivers another first-round TKO.
