Missing John Concannon

Searches resumed again today for a pensioner last seen close to the Donegal border.

John Concannon, 71, was last seen on CCTV footage getting off a bus in Bridgend in November.

The pensioner’s worried family have conducted extensive searches for him but he has not been located.

Dozens of people conducted searches close to where John was last seen at Leenamore Road.

The teams carried out intensive foot searches checking through drains, fields and ditches for any sign or clue of John’s whereabouts.

John, who has dementia and hearing difficulties, disappeared after apparently getting on the wrong bus at the Foyle Street Bus Station in Derry on November 10th.

He was last seen on CCTV footage getting off the bus on the Donegal border but there have been no sightings of him since.

His frantic family have asked anybody who may recall seeing John around this time to contact either the Gardai or the PSNI.

As well as family searches, the Donegal Mountain Rescue Team, Foyle Search and Rescue and both police forces have been searching for the missing pensioner.
