GARDA HUNT DONEGAL MOTORIST WHO FLED – LEAVING THIS CAR BEHIND!

Buncrana car left behindGARDAI in Buncrana are searching for a young motorist who couldn’t produce his insurance – and ran off instead.

Gardai say the young man was stopped last night.

A rear number plate was missing on the red Seat.

But as the man was rustling around – apparently to find his insurance – he jumped out of the car and fled on foot.

If the young motorist thought that was the end of the matter, he’d have been wrong.

The picture has made its way to Garda headquarters in Dublin – where it has now been tweeted to 189,000 followers on the Garda Traffic Twitter feed.

And whoever was on the tweet machine there today couldn’t resist having a bit of fun at the motorist’s expense, suggesting the driver “contact Buncrana to reclaim??”

It’s understood gardai are following  definite line of inquiry!
