Ronan Brennan has been announced as the Donegal U21 Strength and Conditioning coach.

Ronan Brennan has been announced as the Donegal U21 Strength and Conditioning coach.

Former Dungloe GAA player Ronan Brennan has been named as the Donegal U21 strength and conditioning coach for the forthcoming season.

Brennan, who is also assistant manager to Tony Boyle at Dungloe was been officially appointed to the role earlier this week.

Brennan has a wealth of experience – and previously worked in the same capacity with the Dublin Minor side for a number of seasons when he resided in the capital.

He moved back to Dungloe a few years ago and has been an integral part of Dungloe’s recent success helping them to the Division Two title in 2014.

Declan Bonner has utilized his expertise and has appointed him to look after the strength and conditioning of the Donegal U21 side.

Declan Bonner’s U21 side are just SIX weeks away from a clash with either Derry or Antrim who meet in the preliminary round of the competition.

Bonner’s side are currently competing in the North-West league competition – and while they defeated Sligo last week – they suffered a disappointing defeat to Fermanagh last Saturday.

They’ll be hoping to bounce back weather permitting against Mayo this weekend and they search for a win that see them advance to the next round of the competition.
