G4M&O Friendly*
Our Mothers & Others played a friendly match against St Brendan’s Grangegorman Junior Ladies team on Saturday. It was thirteen aside and very competitive with a lot of great passages of play on both sides. St Brendan’s were two points up at half time and started much the better in the second half going seven points clear in the first ten minutes, but the Mothers showed real character in pegging them back and going a point up. At the final whistle the ref declared the match a draw on a score line of BnaG 3-4 St Brendan’s 2-8, This was a bit controversial from the ref especially with his connection to the St Brendan’s centre half forward! We would just like to thank St Brendan’s for coming down and hope Sarah had a great night celebrating her 30th birthday & also James McGinley for reffing the match.
