HARVEY’S Point hotelier Deirdre McGlone is the Donegal Person of the Year – and there were plenty of people in Dublin last night for the announcement.

Deirdre has worked tirelessly for Donegal as a tourism ambassador around the globe, somehow finding the time to help charities too.

The main celebration will be on March 5 in the capital.

But there were plenty of celebrations last night too at the announcement event hosted by the Donegal Association in Dublin.

Here are some pictures from the event.
