John D Ruddy has created another wonderful educational video – this time on the 1916 Easter Rising.

A Donegal teacher has created yet another amazing educational video – this time on the 1916 Easter Rising – and the video has gone viral!

John D Ruddy, from Letterkenny launched his own YouTube channel which he used to upload educational videos designed specifically to make his lessons interactive.

His take on World War 1 a number of months ago – entitled – Ruddy’s World War 1 in 6 Minutes received over ONE MILLION views.

His latest instalment is entitled – ‘Easter Rising in 8 Minutes’ and is superbly created by Ruddy, and the video has already gone viral!

His amazing video which covers one of Ireland’s most historic events is wonderful – and it should be mandatory viewing for all primary and secondary school students.
