Has emigration done irreversible damage to the people and landscape of Donegal?

Next Tuesday, 26 January at 11 am, RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta will broadcast a special programme about Donegal and the damage done to the county by emigration, Dún na nGall ar an Trá Fholamh.

In this programme, Damien Ó Dónaill speaks to young people who have emigrated, to parents, to the community, and to the struggling business owners.

Have they been deserted by the authorities of the state? Is there any hope that the tide will turn?
