Dylan Murray's card video's have proved popular on online.

Dylan Murray’s card video’s have proved popular on online.

A young Donegal magician who takes inspiration from UK sensation Dynamo is proving to be a real ‘dynamo’ himself – as his card trick videos have got almost 20,000 views after uploading them to his Facebook page.

Dylan Murray, 17, became fascinated by magic and illusion after seeing Dynamo perform on his hit TV show – Dynamo – Magician Impossible.

It all started four years ago for Dylan – when he started getting into magic after watching Dynamo’s magic tricks on TV.

Dylan became fascinated by the illusions and he just loved it and decided he wanted to learn how to do it!

His mother Pauline Murray told Donegal Daily, “He started to teach himself all the card tricks and illusions – and very quickly started to pick it all up.

“He then decided to start posting video’s of his cards tricks online – and they started to become very popular.”

However, Dylan also has another passion apart from magic – and that’s Country and Western Music – which he hopes to one day forge a career in.

Pauline added, “Dylan took a break from magic to concentrate on a career Because career in the rock n’ roll music business!

“Dylan is hoping to release a single in the forthcoming months – and hopes he can take the Country Music scene by storm.

Dylan’s uncle is well-known Rosses man Josie Murray, who owns the popular ‘Josie’s Bar’ in Letterkenny.

Pauline added, “It’s unbelievable to think nearly 20,000 people have viewed his video’s – he’s been overwhelmed by the response and he can’t believe it.”

Between Magic and Music – Dylan Murray is a talented young man with a bright future.
