ANTI-WATER CHARGE PROTESTORS STILL IN FULL FLOW IN DONEGAL

More than 1,000 people gathered in Letterkenny today for a protest against water charges.

And the message to Government is that protestors will continue to make their voices heard both on the streets – and in the ballot boxes.

People came form across the county to take part in the march.

People gathered at Mr Chippie at the Port Roundabout and marked to the Market Square where a number of speakers addressed the crowd.

A number of local public representatives  including TDs Padraig MacLochlainn and Thomas Pringle and several councillors took part in the protest.

Protestors from Falcarragh, Gaoth Dobhair, Buncrana, Bundoran, Lifford and Donegal Town traveled for the march.

It was one of approximately 30 taking place around the country today.
