DONEGAL GARDAÍ ARREST SUSPECT IN TYRONE CREEPER BURGLARY PROBE

burglarGARDAÍ in Buncrana have arrested a man and seized a car as part of a cross-border probe into a burglary in Co Tyrone.

The PSNI has thanked officers here for their assistance in the investigation into a creeper burglary in Cooktown.

A PSNI spokesman said: “A white Peugeot 208 was taken after a handbag and keys were taken as a result of a burglary in the Westland Road area of Cooktown sometime between 2.30am and 9.30am on January 24.

“Police are currently working with their counterparts in An Gardai Siochana following the recovery of items in the Buncrana area and the arrest of a 24-year-old man in the Buncrana area for related offences.”
