A fascinating talk about Pearse, Plunkett and Casement – Coláiste Uladh and the Cultural Revolution, takes place next week in Letterkenny.

Donegal County Museum has issued an open invitation to the event which will be given by Dr Seosamh O Ceallaigh on Thursday 4 February at 8pm.

Coláiste Uladh was established in Gortahork in 1906 to foster the revival of the Irish language and culture which was taking place in the country at the time.

Leaders of the Easter Rising in 1916 including Patrick H Pearse, Joseph Mary Plunkett and Roger Casement were either involved in the development of the college or had attended as students.

Admission is free and all welcome.
