Local ambient post-rock Clanns will be headlining this year’s Letterkenny Beo which will be held in the Regional Cultural Centre on February 5th.
Clanns released their new single ‘Make Me A Child’ in December which is from their debut EP of the same name released last April at Distorted Perspectives.
The band consists of Charlie Doherty (guitar/vocals), his brothers Al and Conal (lead guitar/bass) and on the drums, Jason Nee.
Other acts performing on the night include The Other Breed from Stranorlar, Indoor Wars from Letterkenny, DJ Mike Lockin from Derry and Reabhloideach from Donegal Town.
Beo is organised by Transition Year students from Saint Eunan’s College and Loreto Convent. The event, which aims to promote the Irish language whilst running a series of concerts, has been very successful in previous years and promises to be so this year also. Entry on the night is €5.
