If 2016 is the year you will be getting married, it’s officially time to start planning- and that includes your wedding look.

You will most likely spend hours looking at different brides, browsing through Pinterest (which will become your new best friend)- choosing make-up, the correct lipstick and not most importantly your hair style.

Patrick has asked Sharon Higgins, one of our Style Directors and Salon Wedding Co-ordinators, to share some of the trends that we are predicting to be popular among brides this year.

Sharon says “Looking at some of the recent bridal runways accessories are popping up everywhere- although some were very over the top it is a clear indication that bridal hair accessories are going to play a huge part in any bridal look this year; from sparkly headbands, vintage combs to floral arrangements one consistent theme was the “Bling” on show! Along with stunning accessories tousled waves, chic up-styles and cute bobs will all be taking bridal centre stage in 2016”

Sharon says if you still haven’t decided on your bridal look now is the perfect time for inspiration. Hollywood awards season is in full swing and what better than getting inspiration from your favourite leading ladies on the Red Carpet.

Sharon has selected a few beautiful looks that could easily be incorporated into your bridal look.

Rachel McAdams – Tousled Bob

Rachel McAdams sexy yet classy look certainly stole the show at recent Screen Actors Guild Awards. Her sexy tousled bob with gorgeous blonde highlights felt young, fun but still incredibly classy.  Her look is completely effortless, simple and chic just like every bride should be.

 January Jones Elegant up-style

January Jones looked beautiful with an elegant up-style suitable for any bride. Her dress divided opinion but there was no doubt about her hair- Stunning!

Jessica Pare- Elegant Chignon

The perfect style for any classic bride Jessica Pare’s elegant chignon just oozes sophistication, simple and classy.

The perfect bridal look is very personal to each individual but our advice would be to go for a look that is the very best version of yourself rather than a total radical transformation and give yourself plenty of time to get the look you want to achieve.
