Frank McBrearty has officially opened a full-time office in Raphoe.

Frank McBrearty has officially opened a full-time office in Raphoe.

POLITICS: Independent election candidate Cllr Frank Mc Brearty has opened a full time election office in the heart of Raphoe!

If elected he intends to open an office / advice centre in each municipal district right across the county and he will have an advice clinic monthly through-out the county.

The office opening in the Diamond in Raphoe was attended by supporters and canvassers of Cllr Mc Brearty and was officially opened by Frank Mc Brearty Snr.

The office is not your normal constitution office however.

Cllr Mc Brearty told Donegal Daily, “It’s an ‘Advice Centre.’ This is a place where people can come and get advice on any issues affecting them from health care services, voting registration forms, roads, housing and everything in between.”

The office will be open and available to constituents from 10am – 5pm Mon-Fri.

“I think there is a real need to have visible political representation in Raphoe, and to have a place where people can get their questions answered.”

Cllr Mc Brearty commented that he is already ‘inundated’ by local people expressing concern on a range of issues.

“I have been helping the people of Donegal since I got into politics, if elected I will have more influence to get things done. I want to stand up for the people of Donegal and that’s why I’m running for the Dail.”
