A popular Donegal bar and restaurant has received glowing recognition for its quality food, and excellent customer service on leading travel website TripAdvisor.

The Brewery, located in the heart of Letterkenny was taken over by a new management team a number of months ago.

Extensive renovations to the bar, combined with a revamp of their menu has seen a huge upturn in trade under the new management team.

This turnaround was evidenced further by the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor from a number of satisfied customers who visited The Brewery in recent weeks.

TripAdvisor is the world’s largest travel site with over 200 million unbiased traveller reviews – so for The Brewery to receive such excellent reviews so early into their new venture is a testament to the hard work of all their management and staff.

Lizmal84 posted on TripAdvisor, “The Brewery is an excellent pub/restaurant. The food is consistently great and it’s a cosy comfortable atmosphere.

“The steak baguette has always been my favourite. Friendly staff and conveniently in the middle of the town.”

Paula O posted, “The service was excellent. Staff were really lovely and friendly. I enjoyed a late lunch and a couple of drinks when staying in Letterkenny recently.”

FoodieLaura86 posted, “Friends and I went for a meal upstairs in the Brewery at the weekend and I have to say it is by far the best restaurant we visited during our stay in Letterkenny.

“The food was quick and above the standard expected for the price and we indulged in a couple of bottles of wine.

“But what really impressed us was the incredible service.

We were mainly served by waitress Michaela who was very friendly, professional and could not do enough to make our night a good one despite how busy it was.

When we return to Letterkenny this will be out first stop!”

Connie McGranaghan posted, “Just want to say thanks to Jimmy, Enda, and all the gang at The Brewery last night, where we celebrated our brother’s 50th birthday party.

“The food was amazing , great service with a smile (Amy) don’t know the other man’s name!

“Really fabulous with small nibbles afterwards in small bar. Best wishes to you all on your new venture. I’ll be back soon!
