Love is in the hair, everywhere I look around…… it’s that time of year again Valentine’s Day where couples all over the world express their love for each other with beautiful cards and gifts.

It’s all the usual flowers, chocolates and perfume galore but if you’re really lucky you’ll get a Gift Voucher for a wonderful hair experience!

There is of course the added pressure of looking picture perfect on your Valentines date whether you are staying in or going out you still want to look your best.

Patrick has asked Kiera one of our Designers and a big Romantic at heart to give you a few ideas on how to have your hair on point this weekend even if you haven’t had the time to make an appointment.

According to Kiera, “every woman wants to make a big effort to look their best on Valentine’s Day, in fact it’s a great excuse to get all dolled up! Here are a few simple looks that will look beautiful no matter what your plans are”.

Low Ponytail

Low pony tails are very chic and very low maintenance and they are also extremely popular at the minute, popping up everywhere from the Kardashians to the Red Carpet. This sophisticated style gives a polished look and glamorous look while keeping your hair out of your face.

Romantic Curls

Romantic curls are loose and care-free while still adding lots of body and style to your hair. They are a great choice especially if you have long hair and set the perfect tone for the most romantic night of the year. The best tips I can give you is use your fingers to separate the curls (avoid using a comb) and use a good quality light hold hairspray, you want your hair to move freely and bounce when you walk not freeze your curls in place.

Sexy Up-style

An up-style with some height adds glamour and elegance to your valentines look while still looking sexy. It’s no secret that wearing your hair up bares your most seductive features like your neck and shoulders which will perfectly fit into the Valentines theme!

No matter what style you choose this Valentines weekend the important thing is that you get to spend it with someone you love. Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone. Think outside the box this year with a Patrick Gildea Hairdressing Gift Voucher.
