GAA NEWS: KILCAR BOW OUT OF GAELTACHT FOLLOWING DEFEAT BY GAOTH DOBHAIR

Our understrength seniors were defeated in the Gaeltacht on Saturday away to Gaoth Dobhair by 2-09 to 0-06, our reserves face Naomh Muire this weekend in the Junior Gaeltacht. We have a selection of Club Gear for sale in Áislann Chill Chartha. Best of luck to Martin, Paddy and Ryan in the Sigerson Cup semi-final later this week.

Underage

Under 14 boys training on Monday 15th February in Aislann Chill Chartha at 5:30pm – 6:30pm. Players should wear appropriate indoor gear, gum shield and bring bottle of water with them. Parents should drop child into Áislann and come into Áislann to collect them.

Club Membership

Registration evening this Wednesday in Áislann Chill Chartha from 5-7pm. Club membership for 2016 is now available at the following rates. Adult Playing Members €30, Student Playing Members €20, Adult Members €20, Family Membership (2 adults& Children U18) €40 and Student/Juvenile Members €10. Membership can be paid to Denise McSweeney. Forms are available in The Aislann, for download from our website or from Denise. All Adult members paid up before Mar 31st will be entered into a club draw.

Ladies Training

Ladies training on Monday evenings from 7-8 pm in Aislann Cill Chartha for anyone 15 years and over who want to play Under 16, Minor and Senior this year. Please make an effort to attend it’s for only 1 hour and this is to get our fitness level up also for any past players or ladies who wish to take part in fitness class, all welcome.

There was no winner of the Club Lotto Jackpot so next week’s Jackpot is €3,230 this week’s numbers were:  9, 15, 24 and 30 winners were: €50 Deirdre Carr, Bavin €30 Neilly Byrne, Curris €20 Bernadett Gillespie, Roalgh and Brid Cormac, Shalway.

Club Bingo Jackpot now €6,500!

There was no winner of our Club Bingo so next week’s Jackpot is now €6,500 on 45 numbers. This Sunday’s winners were €150 Ann Maguire €85 Bridie O’Gara, Marie Boyle €80 Mary Gallagher, Carmel Lyons €70 Pauline O’Gara, Ann Marie Campbell, Margaret Doherty, Rosha Carr, Eileen Curran and Mary Diver.
