Members of the Sheephaven Mummers group presenting the proceeds from this years activities of €8000 to representatives from the two chosen charities Donegal Hospice and the Good and New, which run the bus to Galway for those receiving Cancer Treatment, at a function in McNulty’s Bar Creeslough.

The Sheephaven Mummers held their annual Presentation Dance in McNulty’s Bar Creeslough and managed to raised €8000.

Two cheques each were presented to the Donegal Hospice and the Good and New, which run the bus to Galway for those receiving Cancer Treatment.

King Mummer Desmond Stewart thanked the Mummers and also the Musicians who gave of their time over the Christmas and New Year Season – John McNulty, James Shiels, Padraig Doohan, Hugh Kelly, Ben McFadden and Francis Donnelly.

He paid tribute to everyone who had made the mummers so welcome during their travels and said how much it had been appreciated. He thanked Moores Garage (Gary Moore) and Roy Scott of RS Autos for fuel.

There was a great turnout at the Dance and special thanks must be given to John McNulty, Denis Sweeney and several local musicians who came along to support them-Brian McLaughlin, James Doherty and Ben McFadden.

Desmond concluded by thanking all those who had donated Raffle Prizes and wished all present at enjoyable evening. The raffle on the night raised €540.
