OPINION POLL: WHO WILL YOU VOTE FOR IN THE GENERAL ELECTION

POLITICS: For the past fortnight we’ve run a flash poll on Donegal Daily regarding the forthcoming General Election on February 26th.

There is nothing scientific about the poll, it’s a simple flash poll which gives us a quick gauge of public opinion on the candidates.

However, we’ve had an incredible response to the poll, and over 10,000 people have cast their votes on our polls.

Independent candidate Dessie Shiels has topped the poll two weeks on the trot, and there is a growing belief all over Donegal that Shiels could cause an upset on February 26th.

Tim Jackson has also performed well in our polls, and he has ran a very clever campaign in which he has utilized social media very well, using a number of videos to get his point across.

Sinn Féin trio Pearse Doherty, Padraig MacLochlainn and Gary Doherty also performed well last week.

Readers can vote below on who they think is the best politician to represent Donegal in the Dáil.
