Just one stunning Donegal beach has made the TripAdvisor list of Top Ten beaches in Ireland!

Donegal not only has some of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland, but has some of the finest in the whole world.

There was some surprise amongst many in the tourism sector in the county and beyond – that Donegal only had one beach selected on the list compiled by travel giant website TripAdvisor.

The Donegal beach selected and deservedly so was the beautiful Maghera Beach and Caves, in Ardara.

However, how many beaches in Donegal do you think have been unfairly overlooked?

2. Derrynane beach, Co. Kerry

3. Inch beach, Co. Kerry

4. Lahinch beach, Co. Clare

6. Banna Strand, Co. Kerry

7. Maghera beach and caves, Co. Donegal

8. Curracloe beach, Co. Wexford

9. Renvyle beach, Co. Galway

10. Portmarnock beach, Co. Dublin
