Twin Towns Community Garden

With the new season about to start anyone interested in obtaining a plot or renewing their existing plot in the Twin Towns Community Garden season is most welcome to come along to the community garden on Sunday 13th March at 3pm.

The cost of a plot for 2016 has been set at €10 for one and €5 for any further plots that may be available. Payment for the plots must be made on the day.

Our garden is an initiative of the Finn Valley Community Health Forum and since 2011 we have been going from strength to strength. Our garden has now 50 + outside plots with 2 Poly tunnels each containing approx 20 plots inside. Expert help is available to any novice Gardeners starting out.

Throughout the season we have various open days / BBQ and visits from professional gardeners including Gareth Austin who will be happy to help with advice on any gardening questions our members may ask him.

The date is Sunday 13th March : The time 3pm : sign up and grow your own proper tasting vegetables and lovely flowers.

Contact Caroline :: 0877618824 Bryan :: 0862690748 for more information.
