Malin drew their opening game of the Tom Farren Memorial cup against St. Mary’s Faughanvale away on Friday night needing a late Dan McDaid goal to gain a share of the spoils in this new pre-season tournament. Terence Coulhoun and Anthony Kelly, joint managers for 2016, put out an experimental line out and will be happy to get their season up and running with a good competitive game in which they came from six points down in the second half to level. The goals came from Jonathan McLaughlin and Dan McDaid. LOTTO There was no winner of this week’s jackpot of €1150. The numbers drawn were 4-5-6-7-3-1-2. The €50 winner was Danny McDaid, Knockbrack and the €20 euro sellers prize went to Ronan McLaughlin, Carrowmore. Next week’s jackpot is €1200.

SYMPATHY The club would like to express their condolences to the family of Tim Finnegan, Bocan who passed away recently. Tim was a supporter of the club and took the senior team on one of their very first trips away to his home club in Kerry back in the 90’s.
