KILCAR STAR CONOR DOHERTY HELPS DUNDALK IT TO TRENCH CUP SUCCESS

Kilcar GAA News:

Our reserves beat Naomh Muire in the Junior Gaeltacht on Sunday away by 1-07 to 0-07, Conor Doherty was part of the Trench cup winning Dundalk IT side on Saturday well done Conor but hard luck to Martin, Paddy and Ryan who lost narrowly to DCU in the Sigerson Cup semi-final on Friday. Our seniors and reserves are away to Bundoran in the opening Division One match on Sunday 20th March. Club gear now on sale in Áislann Chill Chartha.

Colaiste Na Carraige

Best of luck to the Colaiste na Carraige Under 16s in the Danske Bank Arthurs Cup semi-final against Ballybay CC in Irvinstown this Tuesday evening.

Underage

Under 14 boys training on Mondays in Aislann Chill Chartha at 5:20pm – 6:45pm. Players should wear appropriate indoor gear, gum shield and bring bottle of water with them. Parents should drop child into Áislann and come into Áislann to collect them. Under 12s training on Thursdays from 6:30pm – 7:30pm and Under 16s training on Saturday mornings from 10-11:30am both also in Áislann Chill Chartha.

Club Membership

Club membership for 2016 is now available at the following rates. Adult Playing Members €30, Student Playing Members €20, Adult Members €20, Family Membership (2 adults &Children U18) €40 and Student/Juvenile Members €10. Membership can be paid to Denise McSweeney. Forms are available in Aislann Chill Chartha, for download from our website or from Denise. All Adult members paid up before Mar 31st will be entered into a club draw.

Ladies Training

Ladies training on Monday evenings from 7-8 pm in Aislann Cill Chartha for anyone 15 years and over who want to play Under 16, Minor and Senior this year. Please make an effort to attend it’s for only 1 hour and this is to get our fitness level up also for any past players or ladies who wish to take part in fitness class, all welcome.

There was no winner of the Club Lotto Jackpot so next week’s Jackpot is €3,400 this week’s numbers were:  4, 9, 17 and 24 winners were: €50 Nicole McGowan, Sligo €30 Marie Gillespie, Kilcausey €20 Ina Hegarty, Dunkineely and Ciaran Gavigan, Croagbeg.

Club Bingo Jackpot now €6,550!

There was no winner of our Club Bingo so next week’s Jackpot is now €6,550 on 45 numbers. This Sunday’s winners were €255 Grainne O’Reilly, €120 Ann McGuire €80 Bella Cunningham €70 Annmarie Campbell, Joan Ellis, Bernadette Doherty, Joan McGuinness, Denise Boyle and Margaret Doherty.

Nora Carr RIP
