D-_McG-084Preparations are well under way in Dublin for the Annual Gala Ball when Deirdre McGlone from the famous Harvey’s Point in Lough Eske will be awarded the 2015 Donegal Person of the Year.

The event is taking place on the 5th of March in The Regency Hotel and a large crowd is expected to attend.

This year there will be a prize for ‘The Best Dressed Lady’, so dust down your glitz and glamour and you could be the lucky winner of a bottle of champagne, a pampering voucher and a meal for two.

The event is always a glamorous one and this will add a special dimension to the dance this year.

The chosen charity to benefit from the raffle on the night will be “Pieta House”. A group has been set up in the Northwest called “Action for Hope” whose aim is to fundraise for the establishment of a North West Pieta House Service.

All funds raised in this year’s draw will be ring-fenced to a special account for the North West service.

Tickets are still available for the event on www.donegalassociation.ie, from any committee member or by calling
087 1367061.
