St. Michael’s Notes

St. Michael’s Mini Lotto

There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday Night last; The numbers drawn were 1,3,4,5,7,17.  There were 2 Match 5 winners, Drew Alcorn Hornhead and Paddy Joe Brogan Rockhill Portnablagh.  This weeks Jackpot be €2900. The Club would like to thank Brian and Margaret Anne Dolan, Molly’s Bar Dunfanaghy, Seamus Sweeney Kildarragh Construction Philadelphia, Shaun Langan Creeslough Pallets and Michael McColgan Dunfanaghy for their continuing sponsorship of the lotto jackpot, it is very much appreciated.

Tickets are on sale in local businesses in Dunfanaghy and Creeslough and at the Bingo Session in Massinass Community Centre Creeslough on Sunday evenings, tickets for the St. Michaels Mini Lotto can now also be purchased on line anywhere at at onlinelotto on facebook .

Drive Home in Style from the Bingo in Creeslough

The winner of the €100 on the 5th game at the Bingo Session in the Massinass Community Centre on Sunday night last was Lorraine Russell Brocas Creeslough; the €100 on the 9th game was shared by Rachel McElhinney Kill Dunfanaghy.

You could win a car on every game every Sunday night at the Bingo Session in the Massinass Community Centre Creeslough by winning a house on 45 nos or less.  Check on 45 Numbers or less with the magic number in the panel and the lucky number drawn in the first five numbers of that game, you win the car or €10,000.  The normal Snowball is also in place every night. The Magic Number from 1 to 90 is drawn out every Sunday night before the bingo begins.  The car was in play last Sunday night but was not won. In addition every House winner will receive a free entry to the weekly lotto, this weeks Jackpot is €2900.  The single book is €8. Bingo continues every Sunday evening at 8pm in the Massinass Community Centre.

Comortas Peile Na Gaeltachta

The Reserves played their first competitive match of the season on Saturday last putting on a very good performance against a strong Downings team in Downings losing out by the narrowest of margins on a scoreline of Downings 3-13 St, Michael’s 3-12.

The Seniors are at home to Naomh Mhuire in the First round of Comortas Peile Na Gaeltachta Sinsir on Saturday the 5th March at 12.30pm.  Please note change in throw in time.

St. Michael’s Lotto Rota

The names for the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto Rota for this Saturday night the  5th March Dunfanaghy Rose Toye and Brid Gallagher, Creeslough John Sheridan; 12th March Brian Dolan and Manus Friel, Creeslough Anthony Gallagher.

Registration for St Michael s Would all players ( both Senior and Minor ) who have not yet registered please contact either Suzi Roarty 087 2849214 or Ann Marie Kelly 087 9454107 ASAP as players must be registered before training or playing matches . Membership fees are adult: €30; minor/child: €15 and family discounts are available.

Membership forms are also available in Creeslough Post Office.

County Coaches

County Coaches will be visiting the National Schools in the club area in March and April.

Yearbooks

Copies of the 2015 Donegal GAA Yearbooks are on sale in the Post Offices in Dunfanaghy and Creeslough Post Offices priced €10 and would make an ideal Christmas present in a year which saw St. Michael’s claim their first ever senior title.

SOS for Photographs! Nicola is currently gathering photographs for the clubhouse. If anyone has ANY team photographs from winning senior, reserve, u21 or any underage teams in league/championship/Gaeltacht she would really appreciate if you let her know. All hard copies of the photos will be returned to you safely once we make a copy of them or likewise photos can be emailed to secretary.stmichaels.donegal@gaa.ie Please spread the word as the team photos required date back to 1967!! All help with this little project would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Club Gear

Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure is now stocking St Michaels club gear in children and adult sizes.

Initials can be embroidered on tops if requested in the shop.

St. Michael’s Minor Board

U14s

Training now takes place every FRIDAY evening at the Bridge @7pm . The bus is €3 and leaves Creeslough at 6.30pm .

Note : Everyone must be registered with the Club before either training or playing in matches takes place . Registration Is €15 and forms can be got in Creeslough Post Office or by contacting Suzi or Ann Marie Kelly.
