DONEGAL’S RISING CONNECTION TO BE UNVEILED IN UNIQUE DVD

Letterkenny Community Heirtage Group will launch their DVD on Donegals connection with the 1916 Rising in the Station House Hotel at 8pm on Friday night next.

The DVD will which tells the story of Joseph Sweeney from Burtonport who fought alongside his cousins Connor and Eunan McGinley whose father hailed from nearby Glenswilly.

Admission to the launch is free and light refreshments will be served,copies of the DVD which include unseen footage will be on sale and guest speakers will be in attendance and everyone is welcome.
