THEY’RE BACK – and leaving a stunning trail of greens, oranges and reds across the Donegal skies tonight.
The Northern Lights are dancing among the stars to create a wonderful vista.
And the display is so good, there’s no need to head to the coast or to the north of the county.
Experts say the phenomenon is particularly dazzling tonight.
There are reports of the lights being seen right along the west coast of Ireland, along the north coast and in Scotland.
The Aurora Borealis is particularly powerful in March and September.
