St. Eunan’s College  8-15 St. Pat’s Grammar, Knock  1-02

St. Eunan’s College are top of their group and have qualified for the quarter Finals after Easter as they won their 3rd match in a row.

Played in Garvaghey the Donegal boys got off to a blistering start with 2 goals and 2 points in the 1st eight minutes by Keelan Collier and Jack Gallagher each player scoring 1 – 1.

The Belfast boys found it difficult to settle and by half time St. Eunan’s led by 6-05 to 0-02 and the game was over as a contest.

St. Eunan’s introduced some new players in the 2nd half and after a sluggish start they were soon back in the rhythm and won by 8-05 to  1-02.

There were many great performances especially Oran Brogan in defence whose perception to read the game was excellent. Jack Gallagher roved forward with great movement and with the pace of Jack Alcorn and Seimi Breslin St. Eunan’s were always on top.

Noel O’ Donnell had a splendid game at mid field and was at the forefront of setting up many opportunities for a hungry forward line. Callum Friel scored 2 – 3 and with his overall work rate and endeavour to distribute the ball earned Callum – the Michael Murphy Man of the Match award.

St. Eunan’s College team:

Matthew Whoriskey, Sean Collum, Oran Brogan, Cian Mc Monagle, Peadar Mc Geehin, Jack Gallagher, Conal Mc Dermott, Jack Roarty, Noel O’ Donnell, Kelan Collier, Seimi Breslin, Jack Alcorn, Conor Cassidy, Callum Friel, Emmet O’ Boyle, Conor Hughes, Sean Marsh, Ben Gallagher, Donnacha Devenney, Ronan Coady, Tobi Akinyimiki, Sean Mc Veigh, Adam Duncan, Calvin Aidoo, Shane Monaghan, Killian Gribben
