Buncrana will see the return of last year’s very successful Outdoor Cinema at Swan Park on Easter Saturday this year.

Last year, the Evil Dead terrified, while Dirty Dancing had revellers dancing in the dark.

This time, classic family movie, ‘The Goonies’ will be shown for a great evening of fun for all the family, and may even include a very special guest!

Looking forward to the event, Chamber President Ryan Stewart said, “It’s a really great, fun event, and attracts people from across the county. Swan Park is ideal as a location, it really sets the mood. The Goonies was mine, and many others’ favourite movie growing up, so I’m really looking forward to it.”

“We have to screen the movies when the sun sets, and because it’s early in the the year this time, we can cater for younger guests as well. It’s a really professional set up and we hope that our choice of movie will bring out the inner child in those young and old, and since we posted the event on the chamber’s facebook page, interest has taken off, so we expect a sell out again.”

Tickets are available from Macs Bookshop, Farrens Mace, SuperValu Buncrana, and the tourist office. Tickets can be booked by phone on 085 8888 531. You can find out more at www.facebook.com/buncranachamber.
