PICTURE SPECIAL: Scoil an tStratha Mhoir celebrated National Proclamation Day by raising the tricolour outside their National School today.

Annie Mc Connell helped Donegal star and teacher at Scoil an tStratha Mhoir in raising the flag earlier this afternoon.

There was a dramatization and retelling of The Rising by some of the senior classes – and there was also a short photo story which was recorded by Sally Mc Clafferty, which retold local events during the War of Independence.
