JOB VACANCIES: Inishowen Motors is seeking to recruit a Sales Person and Financial Controller to join their dynamic, fast paced and hardworking team in Drumkeen, Letterkenny and Malin, Inishowen.

If so, Inishowen Motors may be the place for you! Family run since 1971, Inishowen Motors is Donegals main Kia, Nissan and Isuzu dealership with branches in both Drumkeen and Malin.

Due to Inishowen Motors continuous growth year on year there are currently a number of positions available to be filled within the Sales department and Accounts department. At Inishowen Motors they aim to build an enthusiastic, hardworking and innovative work force with a team that is committed, with the motivation to succeed and the ability to deliver in all situations.

All available positions require applicants to have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a fast paced team. Please see below for more information on the positions:

EXPERIENCED FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Job Description:

  • Putting systems in place to process transactions such as sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts and payments.
  • Collecting and analysing data then transferring this data into reports so key business decisions can be made, with confidence, in a timely manner.
  • Understanding of or previous experience working with the motor industry will be an advantage.
  • Adequate training on the use of internal systems will be given.

Job Requirements:

  • Generate monthly management accounts.
  • Manage all elements of the site finance function.
  • Evaluate how events will impact on profitability and cash-flow.
  • Prepare annual business budgets and projections.
  • Have knowledge of accounting software packages including Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll and Thesaurus.
  • Influence in discussions with timely, relevant and accurate data.
  • Identify efficiencies and financial savings that can be made.
  • Communicate the financial performance of the business to Senior Management and Department Managers.

This position of Financial Controller is for 3 days per week with an immediate start. A competitive salary will be offered to attract and retain the best candidate.

EXPERIENCED SALES PERSON

Job Description:

  • As Inishowen Motors is continuously growing an ideal candidate will be able to work individually, and as part of the sales team, to meet weekly and monthly targets.
  • Inishowen Motors offers a wide range of used cars along with the Kia, Nissan and Isuzu brands, knowledge of all makes/models available on the market is a must.
  • Ensure vehicle sales and purchase invoices are completed on a daily basis.
    Process orders and control stock of new cars across the Kia, Nissan and Isuzu ranges.
  • Complete finance proposals for customers as requested. Experience of working with finance will be an advantage.
  • Follow up on new and existing customers on a regular basis.
  • Adequate training on the use of internal systems will be given.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience within the motor industry is essential
  • Exceptional customer service skills are required
  • Confidence to deal with new and used car sales
  • Extensive knowledge of the current Kia, Nissan and Isuzu ranges as well as knowing what is coming down the line for these brands
  • General overview of all vehicle makes and models available in the market
  • Highly motivated to reach targets and to succeed, both individually and within the team
  • Excellent organisational, communication & interpersonal skills necessary
  • Good computer skills will be a benefit for this role

APPRENTICE SALES PERSON

Job Description:

  • This role will require a hands on approach in order to prepare all vehicles for viewing and selling.
  • Generating weekly stock list updates for use by the sales department and Senior Management.
  • Ensuring the used car section of the website is maintained on a regular basis.
    Adequate training on the use of internal systems will be given.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Highly driven by targets and deadlines
  • Having a genuine interest in the motor industry will be of benefit
  • Good computer skills is a must for this position
  • Willingness to learn
