Carolynne Harrison, General Manager, welcoming the very first customer to check in to the New Shandon Hotel & Spa

A new era has begun at The Shandon Hotel and Spa – as they welcomed their very first customers to their fabulous new-look hotel!

The stunning Spa facility at The Shandon has been open for a number of months now and has been regarded by many as the best spa experience you can get in the North-West.

However, the hotel underwent extensive renovations over the last number of months, and the official launch of the hotel took place on St Patrick’s Day.

Today, Carolynne Harrison, who is the General Manager of The Shandon Hotel and Spa welcomed its very first guest to the stunning hotel.

The re-opening of the hotel is expected to create fifty-five new jobs in the area.

Dunfanaghy already has a very healthy tourism industry, and the re-opening of the hotel will only add to the buzzing tourism sector.

We wish the new management team and staff all the very best as a new era begins at The Shandon Hotel and Spa.
