A Donegal singer has topped the charts again with her latest song.
Mikaela Bonner from Lettermacaward just outside Dungloe is in high spirits once again as she released her latest country single ‘Every Little Thing’.
Such was the popularity of the song it went straight into the Number 1 spot on ITunes in the Irish Country Music Charts beating stiff competition from artistes like Nathan Carter, Michael English, Taylor Swift to name but a few.
Mikaela who launched her career last October has gone from strength to strength and since releasing her last song ‘Suds in the Bucket’ things certainly have moved in the right direction for the Rosses lady.
On Wednesday next Mikaela will appear on the RTE Today show with Daithi O Sé and Maura Derrane on RTE 1 and perform her song Suds in the Bucket at 4.30pm.
She said ‘I am totally overwhelmed at the level of support that I have received from everyone and I can’t thank those who have supported me in anyway enough’. ‘It is nerve wrecking when you put your music out there and wonder will people like it, or not and thankfully today ‘Every Little Thing’ my new single has proved to be successful’.
Mikaela recorded her single under the watchful eye of her agent Brian Cunningham from Country Shows in Newtown Studios in Bundoran in Co. Donegal with Jim Corbett and Kevin Corrigan.
She is looking forward to performing at home this weekend in Dungloe for a local charitable event and has a busy diary for the next number of weeks ahead.
