IMG_1126An appeal has been issued for people to come out to support this years women’s’ race next Sunday at Finn Valley Centre, Ballybofey.

This years Race/Walk is being done to support ‘Sharon’s Girls’.

It is organised in memory of the late Sharon Alexander who died aged 34 leaving behind her 3 daughters as orphans, namely Shannon, Amy & Kayleigh.

The charity ‘Sharon’s Girls’ was set up to support members of Sharon’s Family who opened their homes to these girls.

Pre Entries have been going extremely well for past few weeks daily at Finn Valley Centre and over 400 have already entered. A free t-shirt was available to everyone who registered and the initial order of 300 tshirts sponsored by McElhinneys are long gone. Then a batch came from Overian Cancer Society which we are very grateful for.

Yesterday a further 100 tshirts arrived so tshirts are once again available for those who register, but don’t delay they are going fast. Registration on Sunday starts at 9am.

This years Race/Walk promises to be the biggest & best. Walk/Run/Jog & push those buggies around. Everyone welcome.
