THE DONEGAL County club U14 Championship got underway at the weekend with some cracking games.
Parents and fans who turned out for the Aodh Ruadh clash with Four Masters were treated to an entertaining draw in the contest of the weekend.
The Division One South & West battle ended Aodh Ruadh 5-03 Four Masters 3-09 with the hosts believing lady luck deserted them as they hit the crossbar five times during the game.
In Division One North & East the game of the first round saw Milford travel to Termon with the hosts coming out on top. In the same division Na Dunaibh, where there has been great work at development, travelled to Buncrana to secure a comprehensive win.
Managers and coaches are reminded that all proposed postponements must be sent by club secretaries to the county board fixtures secretary before they are confirmed or re-fixed.
Club games this coming weekend are postponed and clubs are encouraged to take players along to support club mates in our two county teams who are in action this weekend.
