VOODOO VENUE CELEBRATE TEN INCREDIBLE YEARS IN BUSINESS WITH MUSIC FESTIVAL

ENTERTAINMENT: To celebrate 10 incredible years in business Voodoo Venue are holding a very special thank you weekend this coming May!

Friday 31st March, 2006, Voodoo Lounge opened its doors for the first time.

The brainchild of Jason Black, 10 years on Voodoo Venue as it’s known now has established itself as the Number 1 entertainment venue in the North West.

From its humble beginnings as a Piano Bar it has grown to be one of the most recognisable Brands in the entertainment sector in Donegal.

Today its boasts of Donegal’s only dedicated Cocktail Bar, Donegal’s Only Stand Alone Wine bar, The Number 1 Live Music Venue in Ulster in Voodoo Lounge.

An award winning Club and our prize possession Vintage which continues to be our busiest room in the building every Saturday night.

We now employ 104 staff on Letterkenny’s Main St something which we are extremely proud of.

To celebrate we are delighted to announce the ‘Voodoo Roots’ festival from May 5th to 8th .

We want to give something back to say thank you to all our customers over the years without whom we could not survive.

We have put together a fantastic line up of some of the best acts that have appeared in Voodoo over the past 10 years.

To kick off the weekend the Voodoo Staff are climbing Errigal on Thursday May 5th and we invite as many customers as possible to join us.

The bus leaves Voodoo at 10am. All proceeds go to PIEATA HOUSE and there will be buckets in Voodoo every night. All donations welcome to support this worthy cause.

Full official line up will be announced next week.

Many of these gigs will be absolutely FREE.

The return of Greenroom Live with ‘ Live after Midnight ‘ is really exciting.

A €5 charge into the Greenroom on the Sunday with go towards the Swell Festival 2016 .

We are also organising a reunion of EX Voodoo Staff in Voodoo Vintage on Sunday May 8th at 8pm A Facebook page has been set up to get in touch with as many people who have worked in voodoo since 2006.

The Voodoo Diaspora have spread as far away as Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Spain, USA & England. We are hoping to see many old faces back to say thank you for their part in the success story of Voodoo.
