Our U14 Boys lost to Convoy on Monday last the 11th of April. Next up is Robert Emmett’s at home on Monday the 18th at 6.45pm.
Minor boys have no fixture this week, our minors are due to play Milford or Urris in the league semi-final, this game will now take place next week.
Ladies: Training: Wednesday, U14 Girls at 7pm to 8pm. Minor Training 8pm to 9pm.
Our senior ladies had another great victory on Sunday last when they beat St Eunans at home in the shield. The final score was Glenfin 3.12 St Eunans 3.05. Glenfin scores were Colene McGrath 1.02. Yvonne McMonagle 2.05, Katie Heron, Aine Ward, Kathy Ward, Laura McKenna and Mary Ward 01 each.
Our seniors and reserves had two great victories at home to Cloughaneely on Sunday. The reserves win on a score-line of 1.12 to 07. This was a great team performance with the scores coming from Ross McDermott 05, Paul McGlynn 02, Shane Moy 02, Tony Carlin 02, Christy Morrow 01 and the goal coming from Dylan McGlynn.
The senior team got their first points of the season with a score line of 0.13 to 07. From the throw in Glenfin raced into a 4 point lead. Cloughaneely pulled them back to finish the first half just one point behind Glenfin. Again Glenfin started the second half the stronger and when they went 4 up they never looked like loosing. Glenfin scores were Paddy O Connor 05, Frank McGlynn 03, Michael McGlynn 03 Jason Morrow and Kevin McGlynn 01 each. Both teams are home to Four Masters next Sunday at 1.30 and 3pm.
Our 3rd team lost to St Eunans at home on Saturday evening last. They are away to Naomh Conaill next Saturday the 23rd at 6pm.
Handball: There will be no Handball training for National schools this evening Monday. Handball training will take a break now until September
